Is the FaceBook app that came pre-installed with my DROID the latest version of FaceBook for DROID or how can I tell which version I have, since VZ just announced a newer version?
Market -> Options Button -> Downloads. It will tell you if there are any updates.

Went to Market, however after that, i had trouble finding the option button you speak of..
