Factory reset - does it get rid of my corporate exchange information?

I think I might need to do the factory reset. Since the update, I have lag in some things, and in other things the phone is being extremely sensitive, so I thought I'd try it and see how it goes (no harm in giving it a shot). Before I do, however, I wanted to check and see if anyone knows whether or not my corporate exchange information (work e-mail, calendar) will also be wiped out and then have to be re-added. It seems like it might not be worth the trouble to go through with the factory reset if that's the case. I know that the apps come back on their own (though I'm not sure if that is due to them having to be re-downloaded from the marketplace or whether they just appear, since I haven't actually done it), but I'm less concerned about them than my corporate email/calendar. Any ideas?

I haven't used the corporate exchange myself, but when I've done a factory reset I did have to setup my email accounts again. So I'd say it probably will delete your exchange information. I'd imagine there should be a way to backup and restore this info once you do the factory reset.

Unfortunately, a factory reset does wipe out everything. However, I would advice you that if you are going to do a factory reset, and your phone is acting up, don't back up your information. If you do back up your info, you might be backing up the item(s) which are causing you problems. Have you tried a battery pull? Usually, this is all that is needed and nothing is wiped out. Or a soft reset. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do this, but I know that there are postings on it.

However, a factory reset does not wipe anything out from the SD card. So whatever information is on the SD card, it will stay.
