Fake Shipped E-mail

Has anyone else received an E-mail stating that your order has been shipped, yet gives no date of delivery or tracking information? I've tried searching the forums but don't come up with anything like this. When I check my order status it says it's still being processed, so I know it hasn't shipped yet. I just find it weird that they would send the message below. And yes, I X'ed out all the numbers. :smileywink:

When did you get this email? Sometimes it takes 24 hours for FedEx's system to show what is going on with the shipment. If it has been over 24 hours, then I would call FedEx to see what is happening with the package.

I received the E-mail the day after I ordered, on the 2nd. So yeah, it's been over 24hrs. I can always call Verizon to see what's happening. Since I don't have a tracking number, I don't know how much help Fed-Ex would be. At least I could find out if they've actually shipped the order yet or not.

I must have missed something because I didn't see anywhere it said it was shipped.  I got the same email...it only says they have your order.  It was two weeks before my order actually shipped.  You won't get a tracking number until FedEx takes possession of it.

It says that I will receive my new equipment within the next three to five business days.

 

And I called Verizon and no it hasn't been shipped, as I figured. He said it would ship the 18th, which is the ship by date when I ordered. So I'm crossing my fingers that it will be before.
