Estimate Delivery Date - 07/19/10 Accidently chose 2 day shipping shipping instead of next day... my mistake, not Verizons mistake.

 

Checked FedEx. Phone has left Memphis TN this afternoon on the way north....... waiting patiently for Monday night when I get home to plug it in, then activate it Tuesday Morning before work and play with it during breaks and lunch.

I would like you to post a verification of this order.  If what you say is true, there are thousands of people, including me, who ordered hours prior to you and must wait until next week.  I don't see how your order at 1130 was processed before these.  They will have even more explaining to do if this is the case.

PROCESSED: JULY 15TH, 1929 EST

ORIGINALLY TOLD WILL BE SHIPPED BY JULY 23RD BUT WHEN I SAW IT CHANGED TO THE 27TH ONLINE, I CALLED TO CONFIRM MY ORDER WAS STILL SET TO BE SHIPPED BY 23RD THEY SAID NO IT'S NOW THE 27TH WHICH IS NO GOOD FOR ME SEEING HOW I LEAVE OUT THE COUNTRY ON THE 27TH FOR WORK.

 

I ACTUALLY HAD MY SIGHTS ON ONE AT BESTBUY AND WAS NUMBER 2 WENT TO PICK IT UP AND WAS TOLD THAT BESTBUY WOULDN'T HONOR MY UPGRADE EVEN THOUGH I WAS UP FOR A UPGRADE EVERY SINCE MARCH AND EVEN THOUGH THE VERIZON REP THAT WAS THERE TOLD THEM TO DO IT. RUSHED HOME TO GET ONLINE AND NOW THIS. I'M GONNA TRY AND BE COOL BUT THIS BETTER NOT TURN INTO THE INCREDIBLE SITUATION WERE EVERY WEEK ITS PUSHED BACK.

 

WAS TOLD BY THE CSR THAT HAD I JUST PUT IT ON MY BILL INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR IT, I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT ALREADY.

All the verizon reps on this board ARE IN HIDING or have been told to NOT be on this board due to VZW screw-ups..........Did anyone else notice that the very top post is now supposedly from a vzw employee... & THAT THE POST IS LOCKED so that no one can reply ???  The rep is blaming Fed Ex for no one getting their tracking numbers.. well, it's sort of hard to get a tracking number when YOU HAVENT PROCESSED the orders....

As a new (maybe not now) customer, this is really disturbing. I called 7/16 am, but placed the order by phone around lunchtime. My confirmation email was 7:20pm. I am thinking of cancelling my order, going with an I Phone and a different wireless provider. I was also told I would RECEIVE it no later than today, Friday July 23rd. I left a message yesterday, when I noticed that I hadn't gotten the ship notice. After checking again this morning, I've been told I'd get it "next week" and that "if I had only placed the order an hour earlier..." Total **bleep** - NOT what I was told at the time I placed my order.  I could have just gone out and picked one up, like another family member did.(Yes, there were some out there, like at Costco.) Anyway, I just don't feel good about starting a two year contract with a company that I can't trust, you know? My sales rep said it would ship today, but, like others on this post, I've received no ship/tracking notice. It isn't the shippers, duh. In my opinion, we are being lied to.
