My brand new droid x out of the box and flash wouldn't work. Did an update still no flash. Any solutions?
This may sound **bleep**, but have you checked settings in camera to make sure it has not been disabled, the second icon on the right in camera app should either have a lighten bolt for On of a lightening bolt with a "A" for auto mode, if it shows a cicle next to the lighten bolt it has been disabled, just click to select diffrent option. Also keep in mind if you are in a lighted area in Auto the flash can be disabled automatically.
I just realized that you may be talking about flash for the internet with your statement, if this is the case Flash 10.1 will come with the Froyo 2.2 update that hasnt been released yet, there isnt any supported flash for 2.1, the update should be released early September if all goes as planned.
