Free Cell Phone Question

If i upgrade to a Droid can i still get one of thoes free phones to (i believe one of them is the LG Glance and the other is some LG phone)? Because i really need one seeing as my father cant stand his blackberry since hes old and didnt need it in the first place. Does anyone know about this or how he can get one without waiting a whole 1 and a half years to get a new phone and without paying the unlocked price of like $157 for a crappy phone?

Sorry if im confusing anyone since i still havent even gotten 1 comment regarding this ...T.T but what i mean is on the verizon site when you click on the droid it says buy a droid and get a free phone does this apply for upgrading? and then please someone answer thoes 2 or 3 other questions i have up above.

Now I am not for sure, and I have actually been wondering this to, but I would think that the deal still applies because you are paying the same price that you would to buy one on a 2yr contract.Sorry not much help.

its fine im just wondering seeing as my dad dosent need such an expensive phone (bills that is) why not just give him a crappy one seeing as all he does is call.
