It has been a few weeks since I have been back here - just been loving my X - but I now see all these posts about the update...and I never got it.
Do I need to do something special?
Or am I confused about something?

Hello easton714. I have read your post and in regards to not receiving the update on your Droid X. You do not have to wait for the Over the Air push, they can obtain the official update via the device itself by following these steps: "Menu" > "Settings" > "About phone" > "System updates".
