Does anyone in the 34293 zip code or nearby (Florida West Coast/Sarasota/Tampa) area know when Verizon is going to deem us worthy of the Froyo 2.2 and Wifi n Band update?
I haven't heard of anyone getting the 2.2 update yet. Updates are staggered and will take time to get to your particular phone. The wifi/720 p update was halted in order to combine it with the 2.2 update.
yeah....it'll be a while. nobody has it. it's not based on your area. i'm just assuming this winter so if we happen to get it earlier i'll be happy. but i'm not holding my breath.
Well ... I guess the contributers to the tech blogs I've read .. who said they have 2.2... must have hacked it in. Below is a link I just found dated July 20 ... just a few days ago ... saying we ought to have it by the end of this month or August .. but from the tone and tenor of this thread ... I ought not to hold my breath that my HTC Inc will be speaking n band anytime soon ... figures .. Verizon.

yeah....there are ways to get it and some do have it....but that is unmentionable around these threads....lol. many of the tech blogs ALL come from one source and often times that source is speculating. unless it cites an officail article, press release, etc from vzn, htc or a credible media source, then i just assume they are guessing.
