Foryo update is working great with the exception that I can no longer get emails from my job. That might be okay, but it is their phone and it was given to me for the purpose of getting emails. VZW. please fix this pronto.

Mine is working after the upgrade with no interruption at all. Have you tried removing and re-creating your account?

You should have waited for official ota download.. they might not help you now
Right. It voids warranty. Verizon won't fix the phone for free anyways. Maybe possibly help trouble shoot.

His post was yesterday...the official release of the original update (FRG01B) was sent out on the 2nd...how do you know he didn't recieve the OTA update before Verizon pulled it? Some customers were recieving their updates before they realized there were bugs & halted the release to the remaining customers.
...but to just blindly say he installed warranty voiding updates is just judgemental don't you think?

Even with the manual install, it's still probably a gray area. You aren't modifying the device from its intended manufacturers specs or installing un-released software. The FRG01b update passed the security and signature checks of verified motorola software, otherwise it wouldn't have installed. And there's always a way to go back to the latest official verizon os.

In other words:
If they can use it against you, they will.

You can call in and see if they will help. You might just need to reset your setting and/or phone.

If your office is using Exchange Server, have the email admin read this:
It describes how to change the email access policies to support the 2.2 update.
