Does anyone in the Des Moines, Iowa area know when Froyo updates will be available? I know that it is available in some parts of the country but everytime I try "system updates", it says it is not available. Ideas?
You may already have it.
Check <settings> <about phone> and see if it says your android version is 2.2. Possibly your phone got updated some night when you were sleeping.
It's been in testing mode for so long at 2.2, when I updated to 'Froyo' it says version 2.3.
Don't look at the system version. Look at the Adroid version about 2 lines below the system version.

The "System updates" option is a direct pull from Motorola's server. That means it will pull it regardless of where in the country you are.
