Frustrated Signal Location

Hello All

I am in need of advice and help. Please help as much as possible.

I have recently moved to Richfield, MN (55423) and am learning that the major metropolitan airport (MSP) that I am literally across the highway from (Highway 77), is KILLING my signal!

I have been everywhere else in the twin cities and my signal is phenomenal and applications are at great speed. Yet, after moving to Richfield, both in and outside of my house, my signal is either on zero bars, one bar, or one bar and 1x. The worst part is there is a tower less than 1 mile north of me and within walking distance! I am not sure if it is a Verizon tower, but I know it is a cellular tower none the less.

I have a Motorola Droid (1), however, I have had other people visit with Verizon service (Droid X) who experience the same problem. I am not able to find anything in the forum here about this.

PLEASE help with any advice or solution. I would greatly appreciate it!

Have you updated your PRL(Preferred Roaming List)? By performing this update your phone will stay on the Verizon Wireless network and/or digital service whenever possible. Here are the steps below.

The following are the steps you need to take to complete the update:

Power on your Verizon Wireless phone.

Dial *228 from your home digital coverage area, followed by the SEND key.

When prompted, press option #2, to update your phones roaming capabilities (This process may take up to 2 minutes).

Once completed, a confirmation message will be played, and a message will display on the phone screen.
