Hello.
My Droid X last couple months causes me a headache. Not always but very often I've got error: "GPS SIGNAL LOST" or "SEARCHING FOR GPS SIGNAL".
Removing and installing back battery didn't help.
Any ideas how to fix it (other than replacing the phone)?
Thanks.

Oh no! I understand how frustrating random messages can be on your phone.
Do you use any GPS services on the phone at all?
(i.e. VZ Navigator, Google Maps, any mapping application)?
If you are not using any mapping applications, go to Settings>Location & Security>Disable Use Wireless Networks, Disable Use GPS Satellites, Disable Enable Assisted GPS

Had the same thing happen to mine. Spent over an hour on the phone with verizon and no fix. Then took it to my local store still couldn't fix it. They ended up just replacing it.
