My GPS still won't lock in, just like before the update, despite using the GPS Status App for several months.
My GPS won't work, either. I d-loaded that app, GPS status and toolbox, still nothing.

I understand your concerns; I would be frustrated if my GPS feature didn't work properly. Please visit this LINK for instructions to ensure that GPS Location feature is enabled.
Please note that Verizon Wireless does not support third party apps (GPS status and toolbox). Please contact third party application developer for assistance with such apps.
