Getting phone ready for China Trip

Question

I am getting ready for a trip to China.  I went to the My Verizon app on my phone and did a Global Ready Check.  The check stated  "Your Data, Global, and Network settings need to be enabled on your device."  How do I do this?

I already changed my settings to allow global data roaming access. and changed preferred network mode to Global.  I have a Motorola Droid Mini.

That sounds like a great trip, chor510! You have done exactly what you need to do prior to your trip. When you arrive, you may need to power the phone off/on to establish a connection while you are there. We also have a Global Team that provides 24/7 support  http://vz.to/1e394dc.
