I cannot edit or delete my Contact Groups created before upgrading to Android 2.3.3.  I can edit and delete Groups created after the update only.

Hi dtb,

Phones tend to react differently to data entered before and after a mayor software update such as Froyo to Gingerbread. A factory reset will normally resolve this issue as it will treat all data as new when downloaded from Gmail after reset is completed. For factory reset please follow instructions at link below:

Factory Reset - Droid X

Actually this feature appeared to been removed from the recent GB update, I do not know if this was intentional or just overlooked, at this moment the only solution is to edit this data on the Google email client.  It has also been learned that the option to edit birthday has also been removed but can be changed on the web site, I hope this was a overlooked item but things like this happens sometimes with some major updates.

Hope this helps...

Yes, this loss-of-feature was widely reported in the SOAK Test group. As you pointed out to OP, you must use the onnline Google service to make these changes now. (stupid ..)
