Yesterday my phone updated itself and I have sever al problems:
1. What happened to the trash can for deleting screen icons that used to be at the bottom of the screen?
2. What is the function of the icons at the bottom of the screen that replaced the"legend" of which screen you are on?
3. Why are there dashed lines at the bottom of all screens.
4. Why do those 4 permanent icons at the bottom of the screen follow me to every screen and how do I get rid of them?
5. With the trashcan gone how the devil do you delete an icon from a screen?
6. i DON'T LIKE IT, I DON'T LIKE IT I DON'T LIKE IT I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, calm down …
1. What happened to the trash can for deleting screen icons that used to be at the bottom of the screen?
It's still there but now at the very top of the screen. Just drag and icon or item to the TOP and it will turn red and a trash can will appear
2. What is the function of the icons at the bottom of the screen that replaced the"legend" of which screen you are on?
Those are your launcher icons. You can change any of the 1st three (from the left). The last one is the new APP Drawer and cannt be changed. To Change the others, just LONG-PRESS and choose the APP you wish to change it to.
3. Why are there dashed lines at the bottom of all screens.
The 7 dashes at the bottom designate which of the 7 Screens you are on.
4. Why do those 4 permanent icons at the bottom of the screen follow me to every screen and how do I get rid of them?
It's the LAUNCHER. You can change to another 3rd party Lacunher if you want more configuration ability.. e.g., LPP or ADW come to mind
5. With the trashcan gone how the devil do you delete an icon from a screen?
See #1 above
6. i DON'T LIKE IT, I DON'T LIKE IT I DON'T LIKE IT I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Change is tough … but it's just a phone. And a great one at that. You'll get used to it.

LOL I'm frustrated too. My biggest pet peeves are no longer getting my yahoo emails unless I "refresh" and how I can no longer hold the "period" down while I'm texting to access the other punctuation marks. Anyone have a fix for that?
I just cleared the cache in my email app to see if that is fixed.

Clearing the cache in my email app did NOT fix it.

No, you can't unfortunately. At least not w/o doing things to your phone that violate VZN's TOS.

As far as I'm concerned, third party launchers are so much better than the stock launcher Motorola gives you. I've tried the three most popular ones: Launcher Pro, GO, AMW (I believe those are the letters). Didn't care for the last one, so didn't use it long. The two best are the Launcher Pro and GO. Each have their pros and their cons, for me. Other users may have different likes and dislikes about them. Of the two, I prefer Launcher Pro. Give them a try. As I sayed, they are much better than the stock launcher.

+1 Agreed. Moto is not in the APP development business; except Blur (which really isn't an APP). The 3rd party APPs tend to be much better.

On my Droid Pro after the update.. The signal bar is sometimes blue and then sometimes white.... I'm not roaming..... So what is the reason for the different colors?
Thanks.

Blue = an actual "connection" to be able to communicate.
White = loss of that "connection". You won't have Internet nor phone communication capabilities when WHITE.
