Gingerbread Update

I see that the Droid 2 update to Android 2.3 is available but my phone says no update is necessary.  How do I get the update?

The Gingerbread available for the Droid 2 is a "leak", not the over-the-air official Verizon release.   So your phone won't show it as an available update.  Forum rules prohibit too much information here, so Google something like "Gingerbread Droid 2' to find out more.  No idea when the official OTA verison will come.

Note: the leak is for the Droid 2, and not the Droid 2 Global.  Attempting to install it on the D2G will cause problems!
