Since I received the Gingerbread update, my Droid R2D2 keeps freezing up and randomly rebooting. Are there any solutions to solving this?
Treffoh, I can certainly understand how frustrating it must be for your phone to freeze and reboot constantly. Is this happening when using any certainly applications? First try booting the phone into safe mode to see if this issue persists. Safe mode disables 3rd party applications, to see if one of them may be causing the issue. If the issue no longer exists in safe mode, try checking to see which programs are running when the phone freezes or reboots. Then try removing applications.
If the phone is still not working after this, I would suggest a factory reset. This will erase all data on the device and reset it to factory default settings. No information on your SD card will be lost.
