When I first got my Droid X about 9 months ago i set up and used Google calender. When I entered event s on my Droid or my computer the events would sync right away and I could see them on both calenders. sometime ago this quit happening. In Google calender on my computer it looks like it is set up and I have entered the verification code sent to my phone but the events still don't sync now. I am missing something? Thanks
I can get it to sync by going into accounts on my droid and manually syncing it but shouldn't it do it automatically?
Go to: calendar > menu > more > calendars are the calendars listed there "synced, visible" ?
And My Accounts > gmail "account" > Sync Calendar does the calendar you want exist?
The calender is there. I can't find the sync or make visible, I will try to look more later
Can't find on the computer where the make visible or sync is at. If I go into my phone > settings> accounts> gmail i can manually sync it.
When you are in your Google Calander, hit your Menu button and choose More>Calendars. This should be your list of google calenders. There is a gray box to the right of each calendar. Pressing on that box should toggle through your "visible" and "sync" options.
Each calendar should have text beneath also indicating it's visible/sync stetting.
went there, calender is visible and synced, but it is not syncing, unless there is a time lag,but it used to sync imediatly when I first got it, can't even force it to sync right now, I could force sync manually two days age but not now, might be overlooking something.
On your phone if you go to My Accounts > " your gmail account", does Sync Calendar exist and does it have a green checkmark beside it? You may have to try a phone reboot: power off the phone, take out the battery, wait a couple of minutes, reinsert the battery and power up the phone.
gmail is there and under that is the calender. yahoo says sync but the gmail just says google underneath, no green checks anywhere, I can sync it manual under my accounts but I think it should sync automatically
