I have used the Maps with GPS enabled and the Enhanced GPs without any problems for a long time. The last few weeks it won't work. I keep getting a Your location is not available message. What's the problem?
Try installing the (free) APP called "GPS TEST" and see what it shows you for Satellites and the strength of them. I assume you're outdoors when you activate the GPS, right? Also, have you tried a Battery Pull? It seems to fix various things that are unexplainable.
Also check your version and make sure you have most recent build.. Version 5.4.0. should be the most recent..
i don't use enhanced gps and map dispaly is fine.
Thank you everyone for the great suggestions. NIkki1021, have you tried any of these suggestions? If you have not downloaded the latest version of Google maps for the Droid go to the Android Market to download. Once it is installed, perform a soft reset by powering off the device, remove the battery, place the battery back in and power it back on.
