I got my Froyo update this morning at 9:00 am. it looks pretty cool, but I've not tried the bluetooth dial feature. does anyone know if it really works on the new update?

Got my 2.2 update and it fried my phone, without a phone for 3 days , now waiting for a new one that is being overnighted today and I will receive tomorrow. When i went to the store they treated me like I did something wrong. I love my droid have had no problems. 2.2 update and boom the phone is dead!!!!

Full 3G bars... Verizon's really invested in this region and has a lot of customers here. I got my Droid about a month ago. I'm disappointed in both the phone itself and Verizon's technical support of it. The Froyo update looks like it may fix a lot of my issues with the device, but I have yet to see... been waiting for it ever since I got the thing and I'm sure we all would have appreciated not being so left in the dark about it. My friends have their updates... I do not... I'm about to just manually do it myself. I feel comfortable doing it myself, but it would just be nice if Verizon would follow through on time. Not to mention, who knows if manually installing the update is the same as the OTA.
I thought I'd see it come in today since everyone else's updated over the last couple days... waiting... waiting... waiting... I think I got a dud.
There's so much potential... I understand Verizon didn't want the network load of updating all of these handsets in a semi-timely manner, but for those of us who were waiting for it, they should have allowed a USB-to-PC web update available on their website. And if anything... some information!

How is it my husband got his late Sunday night, and I still don't have mine? When you start updating these phones, I realize you can't do everyones at once, but to have days between 2 people(or more) on the same plan with the same phones? Really? C'mon Verizon, get with it.

The 2.2 has nothing to do with your plan at all. The updates are given out randomly
I am also still waiting patiently down here in Mississippi.............I am hoping that the update will help so I can actually see the live races on Nascar.Com instead of little blue boxes....

It is now the 17th of August and no update for this Droid user in TN. I don't believe there is any way to finish pushing out the OTA updates by tomorrow. As someone else has suggested, looks like Verizon would send us a link to download the update from their website. Would have been much easier and quicker for lots of us,
Have one more update to go...Adobe Flash 10...that is a seperate update from 2.2. This will be availabvle via the Market I have read but as of yet it is not there. Where is it Verizon??

Still Waiting in Atlanta GA!! Just sent them an email for the heck of it wondering where the update is, and why they are lying about the phone not being capable of tethering or the hotspot. Cant wait to see what excuse they come up with.
