Green light blinking on front top ? Phone power modes?

Well, I have not yet received the printed manual on the Droid X and I'm still reading over the pdf version on my PC and unless I missed something, I cannot find an explanation of the small green light blnking on the left side at the top, which blinks sometimes even when the screen is off but phone is still "on". Does not always blink. ??

Also, I think my phone is still on when this happens, but when I let the screen go dark after 30 seconds to save battery life and hope that my phone is still active, is my phone still on, in fact, To accept phone calls?

green lite, you have a message. email/text/pic message.

i use the 30 sec screen off to save battery.

you'll still get phone calls/messages when screen goes dark.

That exactly it, you have a message of some sort, pull down your top status menu and you should see what type of messages that is unread and also you can go to Messaging through your launcher and it will show all your accounts and display a number on message account that has unread messages.

It would be nice to change the color. :smileyhappy: But it works. i like that it whistles at me saying get over here dood got a msg. for ya.! :smileyvery-happy: :smileywink:
