HOW To Screen on While Charging & Not Dim Either

How do I set my screen to stay on while plugged in?

Also how do I keep it from dimming? I use my screen for quick dialing while driving and if the backlight  shuts off or dims in the bright daylight you can't see the screen.

for the moto droid, if you go to your brightness setting  Setting>Sound&Display>Brightness, you can set your droid to automatic brightness, which should light up the screen according to the level of brightness around you.  however, this setting will greatly diminish your battery level.

if you have a media docking station, the droid will stay on while charging.  if you wish to have it on while just charging without the media station, there are apps for that like "Power Manager Full", for example.
