While I await my HTC DROID INCREDIBLE I did what I always do when buying any mobile device; I ordered the largest capacity battery so I never have to put up with the low batt message. Talk to people all the time & they are always having to charge their batteries cause they never get the extended battery. Anyway, two 2150 mAh batteries with backs, are in route to my house. Question is, where is a desktop/sync charger for this phone that will also charge these larger batteries
I will be needing to sync w/my PC. Like the desktop docking station style. Easier to see too.
Anybody looking into this one???

Found this Sync/charger online. Company says it will accommodate the 2150 mHa battery while docked plus charge the second 2150 mAh battery too. Not sure I believe them. I asked them if it didn't work can I return it. They told me yes but there would be a restocking fee. I replied, "You are guaranteeing me it will work but if for some reason it does not you are gonna charge me a restocking fee???" They said, "Yes". Don't like the sound of that.

i don't think that will work. the micro usb port on the phone is on the lower left side of it.....RIGHT where it appears the dock you posted has side grips for the phone. this looks more like a universal type of dock that would work.....if htc hadn't put the port on THE SIDE of the phone (don't get me started on this....i just dont get why they didn't put the port on the bottom???). i suspect that there is no real dock for the inc because the port is on the side and our homescreen doesn't go to landscape mode (don't get me started on that either). there are some decent universal stands that i've seen....but nothing that the phone will just plug into.

check out #13...it allows you to actually plug it in (landscape...you can't view the home screen landscape, but you could watch video or use as alarm clock while charging). i didn't realize they made one. i can't find the thread i was lookin for and i wish i could because there were 2 pretty cool cradles....but they were JUST cradles...didn't charge anything. if i come across anything else i'll post it.

If it's on the opposite side I could sync while charging
it's only one port...a micro usb. it plugs into either your pc for synching while charging or iyou can plug it into a wall adapter (that will come with the cord with your phone). this is for the shadow....but it's actually what i'm REALLY looking for.

it appears that this style of cradle could have the plug on the side so you could actually slide the phone sideways onto it to charge/sync....AND it looks like you can turn the whole cradle sideways to view the phone landscape!!! i wonder if the shadow's port is on the side and if it's close enough in design to the inc that i could somehow make this one work. i REALLY like it......hmmmm.....i may have to get crafty.
so close!!!!! but i jus realized that the previous cradle has a plug on the side....but at the top of the phone. i want to find one JUST like it....but for the incredible.

I would think that the sync cable would be enough? No? I've never really understood the meaning of the cradle unless you have a car kit and need it for driving.
Grab a extended battery for about 10-15 bucks more and charge it while you sleep...
the sync cable really is enough. i don't "need" a desk cradle. however, i used my zune for a couple years w/o the cradle (because i felt the same way you do dabu) but i was in frys electronincs one day and they had the zune cradle for $4 (normally $30) so figured what the heck? got it and now i can't believe i didn't get it 2 years ago. my pc has most of it's ports in back and it's pretty convenient to just have a nice little cradle that it drops into, sitting on the back of the desk, with the usb cable completely hidden (i'm a tidy person/neat freak). also, i have toddlers, so my tower is in a desk cabinet with a lock (got tired of them turning off the pc). it's handy to have a usb via cradle just always plugged in to the rear ports on my pc. i wouldn't drop a lot of $ on one....but i'd spend $20-30 IF someone would produce one that makes sense. the one i found for the shadow is perfect so i'm hopin the same company will make one for the inc. you can lay the cradle in portrait or landscape....cord is hidden...and has a slot behind the phone to charge the extra battery (i have 3) while charging the phone.
ok...so i'm checking out the one you found because i really like it. i just can't figure out how it would be compatible? they dont have better pictures so i can't see how (if it does) it could possibly be plugged in??? but it is definitely an incredible in the cradle.....i really wish the pic was from the other angle!!!
i actually jus got 2 regular batteries that came with an external charger that i jus plug into the wall (ebay). i have to rotate every morning though...as i only get a day out of one. i'd really like the extended battery, but they are twice as thick!!! i haven't even found a case that would work for it?
Yeah. The thicker size will be a challenge
They have cases that should handle the size
People might not like the bulk though
