Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located in the lower-left).
- Touch Settings.

No it will not. I was going to say something, but I decided not to. So I am glad you asked.
It is busted, so the device needs to be replaced.
I worry of blowing the speaker out when I by accident cover the hole.

I am laughing so much on the inside right now.
Just another example of how helpful Verizon Wireless Customer Support can be.
Resetting the phone is their answer to everything.

it's the hardware, not the software. they use CHEAP speakers. you either have to replace the unit or replace the speaker (i believe i once came across youtube videos of people installing better speakers into it when i was complaining about the quality and volume level????)

My husband and I both got the Dinc. when they were released last April. Since that time we have both had ours replaced because of the rear speaker blowing out 3 times. This last time I actually got someone @ Verizon admit that they have heard of the problem. I love my Dinc. but what happens when my year warrenty runs out and I am replacing them every 3-4 months for the same issue and I still have another year left on my contract?
