HTC Inc Best way to block calls?

Is there a way on the HTC Incredible to block callers? I've searched the forum and found a few posts referring to blocking calls but no "how to" so far. There's nothing in the manual about it.

If there isn't, has anyone found a good app that will do this? There is a credit score company with an extremely aggressive marketing campaign that calls at all hours with a recorded message that I NEVER want to hear from again!

You have a number of options to do this...

1. Under the contacts info in phonebook there is a option to block calls from that person and send there calls to voicemail.

2. Log into https://nbillpay.verizonwireless.com/vzw/secure/messageIntercept/messageInterceptHome.action and add numbers to block list

3. Call Blocker Gold

THANK YOU! for the Verizon link. I have searched all over the Verizon site on several occasions going back months to find a way to block this one number. All I could find is parent controls for extra $$. I could also block the call to my daughter's phone, she receives it routinely too. I am so grateful to you! Kathy

A sneaky but effective way to block all calls and send them directly to voicemail (with the voicemail greeting message) is to turn on airplane mode.

I'm using this because I'm switching phones and I want callers to the old number to know what the new one is. Eventually I will retire the old number.
