HTC Incredible Sends Random Texts

I'm having a problem with my HTC Incredible. When I power it on, it sends previous texts to people that I have sent the text to in the past. The recipient will reply that I am sending them a text that they saw from me a couple of days or weeks ago. Has anyone else encountered this? And if so, is there a fix? Love the phone, but this is getting really annoying. It only started happening after having the phone for about a month with no problems.....

I am not too sure if I am having the same problem as you, but I am having an issue with texts being sent from the number 123456789 and its dated dec, 31 1969. Obvisiously I didnt have the phone back then. I wasnt even alive then. So I am not too sure whats going on. I love the phone too. It always seems like I am finding something new with the phone that gets me really excited.
