I have a Droid Incredible and Verizon Mobil Broadband. I can connect wirelessly to the HTC network but get no internet access. Am I missing a step?
I am a little lost on your question. Are you attrempting to connect to a web site using the phone as a modem connected to your PC?
If so, have you subscribed to the Mobile Broadband package (Tethering)? If not, that is why you can not connect. There is a $20/month charge for 2GB.
Now if you HAVE subscribed, you need to turn on Mobile Broadband on your Incredible.
From the home screen choose: MENU>SETTINGS>WIRELESS & NETWORKS>then scroll down and checkmark MOBILE BROADBAND CONNECTION.
---Attempting to connect using Mobile Hotspot
---I have
---That is for a USB connection
I have turned on Mobile Hotspot and, as I said, can connect to the HTC network but get a message that I cannot access the internet.

Mobile Hotspot and Mobile Broadband are two different things and services. Mobile Hotspot is SEPARATE service you pay for. It is also $20/month for 2GB. Have you paid for that?
---Mobile Broadband and 3G Mobile Hotspot are BOTH included in the 20.00/2 GB plan. I found that after re-booting and trying again, the connection was made to the HTC network and after a delay of a couple minutes, I had internet access as well. Not sure why it takes so long to gain access but once there everything worked fine. I guess I confused the issue when I said I was trying to connect wirelessly using Mobile Braodband but it was my first attempt at playing around with the different connections.
