Hanging up, calling voicemail during calls.

My wife has been experiencing some issues with her Droid 2 hanging up in the middle of calls or calling her voicemail during calls. Even the other party can hear her voicemail. I checked to make sure she was holding it close enough to her face to activate the proximity sensor and everything looked fine to me. Anything else that could be causing this?

My Droid 1 did that, but no problems with this one (Droid2)

I've had my D2 since release date...never had this problem with the phone.

My wife has the same "hanging up during calls" issue with her new Droid 2. She's had it 31 days, and she just now told me about the issue, even though it's been doing it for a while now - awesome. She accidentally hung up on me three times in the 10-minute conversation we just had. She says it's doing that with everyone she talks to. She's fine as long as she holds the phone to her ear with her hand, but if she props the phone between her shoulder and her chin and tries to do something else with her hands, it hangs up like she pressed the "End" button.

She asked me to get rid of it and get her a Blackberry (ugh) like the Tours we had before I convinced her to get a Droid 2. She says she now hates touchscreen phones. I love my Droid Incredible, but the proximity sensor works on it, and it goes dark when it gets near my face so I don't hit any buttons.

I may have to sell this Droid 2 to get her something else. I don't think there is such a thing as a non-touchscreen Android phone, is there? Great...

I haven't used this, but you might try "MyLock Phone Tools", which you can find a Beta of on the market.
