Has anyone been able to recover pics and video after getting error?

Question, I'm getting the "SD CARD BLANK OR UNSUPPORTED FILESYSTEM" Error. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting the data back after that? I have not formatted yet. Motorola is sending me a new card, but just wondering if trying to get the data back is a lost cause?

Can you read the card in a pc card reader?

If you can't read it in a card reader it really sound like it is unfortunately corrupted. sucks... This is why I personally back up my stuff from my card almost weekly to my PC ...
