Having audio issues with droid 2

So I just got my droid 2 global phone today and it has no audio on the speaker, so I can't hear my volume at all when reciving calls or playing music but I CAN talk to people. I have put my head set in and it works then , I have restarted it and taken the battery out. I have no idea what else to do. HELP!!!

You have done all the troubleshooting steps that would be suggested to fix it. I'm sorry to say, your phone needs to be exchanged. If this was an online order and you are within 30 days of purchase, you can exchange your phone in any company-owned Verizon Wireless store or call us at 800-922-0204. For phones purchases at authorized dealers, you would return to their store location.

Or, have you checked your media volume. It is separate from your talking volume. Just tap on the menu key and tap settings From there, just go to sound setting>volume. You will see four volume bars, one of them will be Media. If it is completely gray or almost completely gray, just tap and hold the bar and move it to the right. It should be red.
