Headphone Jack Too Small

The headphone jack on the Droid Bionic is too small for any of the accessories I have to fit it. My headphones, JBuds J2 brand, won't fit, making it impossible for me to listen to music privately. Even worse, the Square reader device, which I used with my old Droid to take credit card orders at trade shows, won't fit in it, which is going to make future trade shows a nightmare of delays as I type in each credit card number by hand.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Is there some sort of adapter available that will allow the use of ordinary size 3.5mm devices with the Bionic?

Can anyone recommend a brand of headphones that actually fits into the jack?

Generally speaking I really love my Droid Bionic, but the ridiculously small headphone jack and the problems it's going to cause me are a major disappointment.

That's odd.

My 3.5 cables fit the headphone jack just fine.

I'd return the phone for an exchange. And take your cable with you to check the new phone's jack.

I'm guessing that the original poster meant that the socket is too short. My headsets don't work properly with the Droid, and it looks like the reason is that the jacks won't go all the way in.  One headset (with poor audio) is the only one with any control.  The others aren't able to adjust volume or initiate a voice command.
