Hello...why does Verizon not offer a case for Incredible + Extended Battery?

I cannot find a case for my new Incredible with Extended Battery

I've spent quite a while surfing and haven't come up with one.  I don't want one of those gay purse pouches....

Look on amazon web site. You'll see cases and the extended battery available on there.

Right now nobody makes an extended battery case. They make the belt clip style that the phone attaches to from the screen. You can trim an old hard case to fit, that's what I did. I also just got a gel case for 15 bucks and cut that with an exacto knife. Hopefully they get real ones soon. I'm keeping my eyes peeled.

Hah, I was thinking of doing that same trick to a silicone case.  Nice to know someone else out there has the same issue.

Mis-read that original post.Thought it wasn't an extended battery case & just a regular case.

because everything to do with this phone has been a debacle! same reason there is no cradle/dock to drop it into and sync with your pc (landscape would've been sweet IF the home screen would go to landscape view!). i'd love a big battery, but not gonna carry a $500 phone w/o a case. i'd also love a cradle, but not the makeshift ones i've found so far. i see no reason that htc or someone couldn't make a similar cradle to the moto droid's......and that one is perfect for the moto. A LOT of $ bein left on the table because nobody had foresight with this device. there are plenty of generic cradles that i could make work and cases that i could get all mgyver with.....but if they jus had official vnz cradle and extended battery case i think a lot of people would spend the $.....and i don't normally by the vzn accessories. the battery itself wasn't even avaialable for quite some time after the phone came out.....and they HAD TO KNOW that the battery was going to be complaint #1.

I agree with your sentiment.  It blows my mind that there's not a nice hard snap on or silicone case for this phone.

Perhaps I should 3D scan in the phone and import it into SolidWorks, do a surface offset and create a mold for a silicone case.

whoever does that first and creates about 50,000 cases WILL BE rich. i figure eventually a good percent of incredible owners will have the bulky battery. if there will be only one case to buy....the manufacturer will be golden.
