Help - 14 day eval - installs freeze

I love the phone. Sometimes installs work perfectly. Other times they don't work at all. This is both the Amazon store and the Market Place. I go into Task Manager and free up memory. I try wireless and data downloads. I have issues with the download not starting and once it's downloaded the install not finishing. With all the new phones coming out and the price, it's kind of silly to deal with these issues.  Is there a log for these types of issues on an Android phone?

Hello dbaps,

 

I know this particular action can be a bit frustrating.  I would suggest navigating to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Find the Market application and clear data/cache.  Power the device off and back on and launch the Market application and accept the terms and conditions and test a download/install of an application and please advise if this was successful for you.  Thank you.

On the plus side Bluetooth is superb in my car.

 

On the downside 328MB for Real memory? Is that a joke? By the time Verizon and Samsung fill up their bloatware, this phone has to be rooted to get anything out of it.

 

Verizon should put in their specifications the amount of real memory for each phone and how much is free at startup.

 

2GB of internal storage. Wow, they are cheap. Take back the MicroSDCard and give us at least 8GB of internal storage.
