Hi,
Sorry many of you are having to wait for your new droid x. I upgraded from a Storm today. Am very pleased. I am also new to this type of phone. I need some help. While reading the blogs to get information it seems that many of you are already familiar with the Droids and what they can do. I messed up. Here is my problem: On the media home page there was a screen with three icons underneath it. Some how I saved a picture in the screen above the three icons. When I tried to delete the picture I some how dumped it into the trashcan. I do not have a clue what the icons were for or what the picture area was for on this page. Anyway, I cannot find it to put it back in its place. I opened the apps page, but nothing looks like. This is the home page with the media share, Blockbuster, Camcorder and Gallery at the bottom and selected playlist is empty at the top. Can someone help me, please.
I have gotten a lot of great information here, but I have not been able to find this.
Thanks

I believe what your looking for is the photo slideshow which is located under the Motorola widgets

So just to confirm it was not an application....it was a picture? Was it a picture you took?

I took a picture and some how it was placed in the middle of the box with the three icons underneath. It was also in the Gallery, but I deleted it from there and there are no pics in the gallery. There are no pics at all. I think it was an application, but not sure.
Here is what happened. I was playing with the camera and took a very messy picture. On the home screen it went into the box on the media homescreen. When I deleted the picture from the gallery it stayed in that box. It is not wallpaper for the whole screen but maybe just for that box? There are now no pics in the gallery and no box either. When I used the menu key nothing would open, so I held the box down and I think it ended up in the trashcan. It may be an application, I am not sure, the picture attached itself to it. I have not been able to find an out of the box picture of the screen to attach. I am still looking. (I know all of this is operator error) Thanks,

Thanks, I did go through all of that and did set a wallpaper background, but this was a separate window on this same page. I am looking for an out of the box picture to help my explanation.

Thank You!!! That was it. I needed to take a picture to put in the slide show. It would not let me add the widget back until I had pictures. Once I had pictures, I added the slide show and that is what I was missing. Thank you so much, from a newbie
