Just got a replacement phone because my charging port on the old one was faulty. I tried to activate the phone on the new device by dialing *228, but it kept saying phone was unsuccessfully programmed. After trying that several times with no luck, I called CS on a landline and it said the same thing. I then tried to activate it online, but said you cannot activate any phones because of a pending transaction. I don't even know what that means, so nothing I can do there. What should/can I do now? Do they have to get the old phone before they can activate the new one?
So that pending transaction you have is a future dated order. Which means either it's a 4g phone you're activating and it got stuck in the switch or you're changing your plan effective next bill cycle, if it's a 4g device it most likely won't be unstuck until 12am unfortunately, so you have to wait. The reason why is most likely that "pending transaction" is set to start first thing the next day, and there is no way to change that, but if you can stay up until 12am, by all means do it Or just wake up to your phone activated in the morning. That works too.

I apologize for the delayed response and I am confident that your phone has been activated since the original date of your post. If not, I can happily assist you. At your leisure, please DM me your wireless number. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
