Help with speaker volume for calls

The speaker volume (both regular and speakerphone) when on a call is awfully loud. I can't find a way to turn it down enough, I have turned the in-call volume down as far as it will go with the rocker. Is there another way? I have to hold the phone 6 inches from my ear just to make a phone call.

Wow, I wish I had this problem! Mine is the opposite. Try going to Settings --> Call Settings --> And enable Voice Privacy.

Voice privacy is already enabled on my phone, but I'm still having the problem with the volume. FOllowing suggestions from another forum, I have turned the volume all the way up and back down again, and that works, but only for the duration of the call. The next call is loud again.

Hello MostlyALurker,

May I ask what type of device do you have? If you have an Android device, I would recommend checking to see if there is a hearing aid option on the device. If so, make sure that this is disabled. Afterwards do a battery pull & retry the audio. If that doesn't work then we may have to do a factory reset on the device. Let us know the results after trying these steps.

Thank you...

Arnett,

Thank you for your reply. I have a DInc2, which is why I am posting in this forum (obviously). The hearing aid option is disabled. I have not tried a battery pull.
