When I try to send an email from my road runner email on my phone it does not send.. it just go to my outbox? Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
I contacted Time Warner and talked to a tech.... he told me what to put in for my outgoing server had me pull the battery and it worked!!!
contacted time warner and put in the incoming and out going servers they told me but didn't work!! they only give limited help with cell phones told me to contact verizon....
There is still some areas that Time Warner does not grant access to port required to send messages but I am with RR KC and I can send after I got the correct information from provider call TW and if it is possible they will be able to give you correct port and server address to use.
I also have Roadrunner and these are the settings I use, with no problems incoming or outgoing
POP-server.your rr city.rr.com
Port 110
smtp-server.your rr city.rr.com
Port 587
Try these and good luck.
same server ports offered up by my cox cs and many other pop3 email outfits.

If your device is able to receive emails from your Roadrunner email account but cannot send email, please mirror the incoming server information on the outgoing server information field as this may resolve your outgoing email concerns. If this does not work please contact your email provider as further setting can only be provided by them.

That wont work because incoming server is a pop server but outgoing is a smtp...
glad it worked but i recommended talking to them some time back in the thread.
