Hot Spot

A friend of mine has an HTC Incredible, she got her Froyo 2.2 update and with it obtained the ability to have her phone act as a hotpot, but my Droid didn't get that ability. Am I missing out on it?

Sorry... for other people curious here is the answer.

The Droid cannot set up with an actual wifi hotspot. It can work as an adhoc connection via wireless connection ...

A lot of gadgets can connect to it and a lot cannot. It really just depends, but since they could not gaurantee the phone working for all devices they could not enable the option.
