How Do I Delete Contacts That Synced To My Phone From Facebook?

I synced my facebook account to my phone and it added everyone from my friends list on facebook to my contacts on my phone, I would like them to be removed. I tried to go to the account manager and remove the facebook account and the accounts still remain. Ive also tried using the contact remover app but it will only remove the contacts on my sim card and not the facebook contacts, this is really annoying becuz i have over a thousand friends on facebook and now there all in my phone. Someone Help Me Please!!!!!!!!!

open up your people, hit menu, go to priacy or view w/e it says, then uncheck facebook contacts
