How can I block a contact from texting me

Hw can I block a text message from my phone.

I understand, but everyone needs a little extra help to get things figured out some times, I have clients that you have to walk them through every little step, this is where I developed the screen shots and animations habit.   Sometime a image says a thousand words....  But I have to admit some time it seems that it says the wrong words....
