You mean in the Browser, or after you've placed one on a screen? If on a screen, just click and HOLD, then drag it to the trash can. If in the Browser, go into the bookmarks and just long-press - a popup will come up and there will be an item to "Delete Bookmark" near the bottom of the list.

You can't. VZW in their infinite wisdom made it so that the Veizon Wireless Bookmark is NOT deletable, or even moveable. So every time you open your bookmark page, that wonderful link that you ALWAYS use is the first one you see!! So awesome.
You can DL a third party browser like the DolphinHD Browser, where you can delete or move that bookmark. But why would you want to!?! If VZW thinks it needed to be there, then they must be right!
And this is my first post! Stay tuned.

The Long press will give you the delete option, you can also delete bookmarks through web page, just log into Google and then goto https://www.google.com/bookmarks/ and there is a option to delete bookmarks....

As had already been stated, if you are referring to internet bookmarks, just long press the bookmark you no longer want until the pop-up menu pops up, scroll down to "delete bookmark" and tap. Poof! It's gone. If, on the other hand, you are referring to ANY icon, including pre-installed icons, on one of your screens...just long press it until it turns green. Bring it down to the trash can at the center bottom of your screen. Once the icon turns red, let go...poof, it's gone. One thing I should mention, sometimes some of these icons, especially the widget (large) icons don't want to go and they'll put up a fight. Just keep trying. I find that if you wiggle these icons a bit over the trash can, they too will go.

Well, this is my "maiden voyage" into the forums as well. I hear and see what you are saying, but when I try to delete internet bookmarks, I long press and when the menu comes up it offers the other choices but when I scroll down there is no option to delete! What gives, change in the software or am I missing something.

Right, the long press>delete only works on the default browser. I also use Dolphin, and it does not work on this browser.

If its the browser which came with the phone, it should work. Are you long pressing on the bookmark you wish to delete. By long pressing, it means to put your finger on the bookmark and keeping it there until a pop-up menu appears. At the bottom of the menu is "delete bookmark." If you are just tapping the bookmark, that is not long pressing. I got rid of almost all the bookmarks which came with the browser, except the one or two which I wanted. It will work, believe me. Try again. And Looooong press directly on the bookmark you no longer want.
