How do I delete email on Droid2

I would like to be able to delete email off my deviece, but still have in my email when I retrieve via my PC.  Can this me done?

No. This isn't a blackberry. The fact that you could do that with a blackberry was a limitation of the blackberry platform.

One of the settings in K9 mail is "When I delete a message - Do not delete on server".  Is this what you mean?  As far as I can tell this does not exist in the standard Messaging app.
