I made the mistake of installing an update today and now my phone sucks! There are apps I never added, one of which is a pay navigation. The apps stay open, even after I use my apps killer, so the battery is draining even though I am not using the phone. I have tried deleting the new apps, but they won't delete. I have a friend who did the update and the phone thinks she is a foreign country three days ahead of where we are now. I can't hit the menu button to get started, i have to slide the main screen....WHY???? The phone was great and noe I hate it.
do a couple of hardresets reformat you sd card clean install any apps stay away from ATKs android works great without them.
Mine works perfect battery life is great stop fixating on apps running the if they aren't used they will put in background and use no resources give the OS time to to become efficient
android is very good at optimization
you can try the factory reset but PLEASE understand that you will loose all settings (email, contacts), pics, music, etc that are on your device. back them up somehow, or, if they are on the sd card...pull it before you reset the device.
