How do I keep my facebook and twitter contacts from showing on my phone contacts list? It just makes the list extra long and I never use them?
Unfortunately when you add Facebook or Twitter to your account set up, they want to take control of your contacts. The only way I could fix this was remove the Account set up for Facebook in the Account Management area of the phone. I also installed Groupy, an application from the Market that allowed me to manage the contacts in groups, a functionality severely lacking in the phone. As for Facebook, after removing th eaccount set up, download the Facebook application from the market. That will still allow you to do everything you did before with Facebook except that you won't be seeing te contacts poluting your contacts listing.
