I don't remember how to disable auto upgrades on my apps. Can someone walk me threw it?

open the "play store" and select menu. select "my apps." select the app you want to disable it on, and there's a checkbox that says "allow automatic updating." uncheck that box. there may be a way to do it for all apps at once, but i'm not aware of it.

To disable the auto-update for all apps, go to the Play Store, press menu > settings > uncheck "Auto-update apps".

Thanks for the replies... I unchecked it. Since I have been getting constant notifications of Naughty apps. that are driving me crazy. Now I have to find the app that these are coming from.to delete it.. Wonder if anyone knows how to opt-out of apps like this? or block?

Try downloading an "Air Push Detector" application. It sounds like you downloaded one with that sends notifications to the notification window. You should be more careful with the permissions of the applications.
