How do I turn off both incoming calls/text ring AND vibrate?

Since the most recent update, I have been unable to completely put my phone on "total silence". If I turn down the volumes of both incoming phone calls and incoming texts/emails, it automatically defaults to "vibrate". I would like to be able to turn off both the volumes of incoming text/emails/phone AND to turn of the "vibrate" notification.

How do I do this with the most recent update?

or try Settings > Sound > Silent Mode, choose Mute

Edited to add: You also can get there quicker by pressing the power button until you get a pop-up, then choose Mute in the lower left-hand corner.

Have you tried setting the ringtone and the text notification both to Silent?
