I just purchased a Panasonic KX-TG7644 home phone for my landline. It has link-to-cell Cellular Convergence Solution, via the bluetooth. I am trying to figure out how to link the panasonic home phone to my droid x. It says in the manual to check with your cell carrier on how to connect your cell phone to the phone, but I have yet to find any information on it on the website and no one at verizon seems to know. It is a fairly new concept, but you are supposed to be able to transfer to the home phone and use the wireless handset, and also be able to charge your cell phone thru the bluetooth when you are near the handsets wirelessly. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

Android phones have two options for connecting to bluetooth devices. From your homescreen, press menu>settings>wireless & networks (you can turn on bluetooth here)>bluetooth settings. Once bluetooth is on, you can check make discoverable or you can scan for devices (this will happen automatically for a short time after turning on bluetooth). You may need to check the manual for your home phone to figure out which one to use, but it will most likely be the scan option. I would also suggest checking either the manual or website for your home phone to find a compatibility list. I have seen a lot of users post problems with connecting to vehicle bluetooth speaker phones, and it usually ends up being a lack of compatibility on the vehicle's part.
