How do you mute your line quickly when on a phone call?

I can't seem to find a "mute" button to quickly mute my phone when i am on a phone call.  Anyone have any tips?

Are you refering to muting your voice to so that the caller can not hear you? if so, move the call away from your ear (so the screen will turn back on) and it's the button to the left of the speakerphone button (appears as a microphone with a line through it)

During a call, press the Mute icon to toggle mute on or off. A microphone icon with a line through it will appear in the status bar when mute is enabled.
