Hello,
How exactly does the ZumoCast app/program work? Is my computer's entire contents stored somewhere else (server) while using this app/program? When I was signing up for the app on my Bionic, I had to agree to a "privacy" statement and it mentioned "sharing" of info/data...this makes me think that my entire computer's contents will be shared to anyone using the service...am I wrong? I don't want to allow my personal info, files, pictures etc available to anyone...Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
ZumoCast/MotoCast does NOT upload stuff and stores it.
The reason why they need your permission is because you have to install an application to your computer and setup an account. If you do not give them those permissions they will not be able to access your computer and help you stream your content online or on your phone. The only thing that can be seen is what you want the application to see.
It's just one of those "We need to protect our butts" type of privacy statements.
